Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moopy's authentication services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Seneris B.V., a Dutch limited liability company (Besloten Vennootschap) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 98215183.

2. Description of Service

Moopy provides OAuth 2.1 authentication services that allow users to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Register OAuth applications for third-party integration
• Authenticate using password or passkey (Face ID/Touch ID)
• Authorize third-party applications to access their account
• Manage authorized applications and revoke access

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Password Requirements

Passwords must be strong and secure. We strongly recommend enabling passkey authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) for enhanced security.

Account Responsibility

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. OAuth Application Registration

If you register an OAuth application:

• You must provide accurate application information
• You are responsible for your application's use of the OAuth API
• You must not mislead users about your application's identity or purpose
• You must handle user data according to applicable laws and our policies
• You must implement proper security measures for client secrets
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate applications that violate these terms

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. OAuth Authorization and Consent

When you authorize a third-party application:

• You explicitly consent to share the requested information
• The application may access your data according to approved scopes
• You can revoke authorization at any time from your dashboard
• We are not responsible for how third-party applications use your data
• You should review each application's privacy policy before authorizing

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Seneris B.V. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
• Update these terms with reasonable notice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seneris B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
• Any other matter relating to the Service

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seneris B.V., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your OAuth application's operation or data handling

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maastricht, the Netherlands, unless mandatory EU consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

13. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably through direct communication. For formal proceedings, EU residents may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform:

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
